Cheese and Onion Quiche

A great way to use our Organic onions and Free Range Eggs. You can also control the calories by adding or omitting pastry and using cream or milk. Really easy to prepare and easy on the purse strings!

Take half a dozen of our Free Range Eggs.

Break into a large pie or flan dish.

Beat the eggs with a fork.

Add salt, pepper and then a good cup and a half of either double cream, milk or both!

Take one of our Organic white or red onions.

Layer in the mixture.

Grate a good double handful of tasty Cornish cheese.

Sprinkle onto the mixture and lightly fold in.

Sprinkle onto the mixture and lightly fold in. Bake in a medium hot oven for about 40 minutes until set (if the bottom is taking longer to set than the top, place dish in a roasting tray full of boiling water).

Leave to cool a little and serve hot or cold with some of our Organic salad leaves.
